Reflections

Watch this video as many times as you need, then WSQ in your notes.

W = work out any problems given throughout the video.  Here is the worksheet companion to this video.
S = answer the summary questions below.
Q = ask a question about the skill or ask a question that will deepen our class discussion. (This is NOT optional!)

Express Yourself Online Study Group

Things you will need to know for the test:

  • Evaluating Algebraic Expressions and using the Order of Operations
  • Write algebraic expressions for real-world situations
  • Distributive Property
  • Formulas (Area, Perimeter, Density, Volume)
  • Adding and Subtracting linear expressions
  • Greatest Common Factor
  • Factoring linear expressions
  • Describing situations based on their algebraic expressions
Use the comment section below to ask questions or respond to questions asked by a classmate.  I will be checking the comment section at 8:30 each evening the week of the test to answer questions as well.

  • Use your textbook to work on sample problems (the answers to the odds are in the back of the book) on areas you are concerned about. Chapter 7
  • Try out some of the problems on the your quadrant work from this unit.
